Role
Learning Design Specialist Intern
Industry
Retail (Human Capital Division)
Duration
5 Months

Stage 1. Instructional Design & Multimedia Development
Initiated the learning design process by analyzing corporate training needs to create engaging digital materials. Developed 9 interactive, multimedia-based teaching modules tailored for employee training. Prioritized the integration of instructional design principles with high aesthetic value and creativity, ensuring the materials were not only informative but also visually captivating to maximize learner engagement.
Stage 2. Learning Evaluation & Assessment Formulation
Recognizing that effective learning requires accurate measurement, I designed and formulated a robust learning evaluation instrument. Successfully developed a comprehensive bank of 120 validated assessment questions. This stage involved rigorous alignment with the overarching learning objectives to ensure the training's effectiveness could be quantitatively and qualitatively measured.
Stage 3. Corporate Communication
Expanded the learning ecosystem beyond formal modules by leveraging internal communication channels. Authored and published informative articles for the company's internal news portal. By focusing on accessible and engaging storytelling, the publications successfully reached an audience of over 1,500 viewers, fostering a culture of continuous information sharing within the company.

Stage 4. Livestream Operations & Event Management
Bridged the gap between asynchronous learning and real-time engagement by facilitating internal corporate events. Acted as a Camera Person and Livestream Operator for over 5 highly attended internal broadcast events. Furthermore, took on a leadership role as the PIC Livestreamer & Operator for the MBKM Cycle 6 Engagement Committee, successfully managing the technical execution and broadcasting of 3 major event series.

Reflections
This project was an invaluable opportunity to apply educational technology and instructional design in a fast-paced corporate ecosystem. It challenged me to think critically about how to transform standard training procedures into engaging, aesthetic, and impactful learning experiences. From crafting multimedia modules to orchestrating live broadcasts, the experience enhanced my technical operations, copywriting, and project management skills. Most importantly, it solidified my belief that well-crafted digital environments can profoundly impact organizational growth, bridging the gap between complex corporate knowledge and everyday employee comprehension.
